Account Executive (Sales-Only)
Base Salary:
$35,000 – $45,000 per year
Commission:
Flat 15% commission on gross profit (GP) from all shipments
Year-End Bonus:
12.5% of entire GP if meeting goals
Job Description
We are looking for a motivated, results-driven Account Executive to join our growing freight brokerage team. This is a sales-only role — you'll be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and closing new shipping clients across the U.S. You'll hand off operational responsibilities (quoting, carrier booking, tracking, etc.) to our internal team, allowing you to focus purely on revenue-generating activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new shipper relationships through cold calling, email outreach, and networking
- Qualify leads and convert them into long-term clients
- Maintain relationships with clients and grow existing accounts
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery
- Achieve monthly gross profit (GP) targets and performance benchmarks
